Java 7 adoption grows to 18%

We at Jelastic PaaS are continuing to share the statistics of Java applications that we see running on Jelastic. A month ago we reported that about 10% of environments in Jelastic were on Java 7 – guess what, in November this jumped to 18%:

Looking by region, we are seeing even higher penetration in our deployment in Europe:

This growth is especially impressive considering that Java 6 is currently the default option in Jelastic, so users who turn to Java 7 make this selection explicitly.
