Well, January has been going by fast and February is fast approaching. So much is going on but there are a few events that you want to make sure that you keep in mind.

Parallels Summit 2012

The Parallels Summit will actually be our first conference this year. It is happening Feb 14th – 16th in Orlando, FL. There are going to be great speakers like Guy Kawasaki and Tiffani Bova. The focus of the conference is all about profiting from the Cloud.

We’ll be presenting Jelastic as well as a doing a panel discussion and a few demo presentations. This should be a great event. It gets bigger and bigger every year and we are really looking forward to meeting new partners and clients in person.

If you can make it, or you are close by, make sure you come out and say hello!

OpenCF Summit

The OpenCF Summit is happening in Dallas, TX — a little closer to home for me since I’ll be coming from Houston. It will be February 24th – 26th. I’ll be doing a presentation on how to deploy CFML apps to the Cloud using Jelastic. Up until now, the OpenCF community was stuck with really slow, if not super annoying, ways of deploying their apps. Not only were their options pretty slim, but then they were stuck with that provider. With Jelastic, there is no lock-in. And putting your app in the Cloud is as simple as creating the environment and uploading the application. No having to change code or managing servers. Just Simple.

More to Come…

We hope that we will be able to see you at one of these events, but if not, don’t worry. There will be more to come. We are growing fast and we are really excited about telling people about what Jelastic does and how it simplifies the life of the developer. If you have any ideas for conferences that we should attend, please feel free to tell us in the comments below, or on our Facebook page. We would love to hear from you and get your ideas on what events would be good to attend.
