question_markThis month we are thrilled to announce that Rasmus Lerdorf (the creator of PHP), Michael “Monty” Widenius (the main developer of the MySQL database and the founder of MySQL AB and Monty Program Ab) and Mark Zbikowski (one of the key developers of Windows NTFS and Windows 2000/XP/Vista and the designer of the DOS executable file format) are spending several days with our team.

Those are some pretty big names and BRAINS! Would you like the opportunity to ask them ANY question? We are calling on our community to add a comment to this blog post with your question and who the question is for, and we will pitch them to Rasmus, Monty and Mark and then share their responses.

We are in the process of redefining our server architecture as we move to the cloud.

Would you consider Nginx to have enough over Apache to consider the transition in web server?

I would ask the same question about the Zend Server stack. Loads of cool features are baked in, but is it worth the commercial investment (roughly $6-7k/yr) vs tooling individual open source offerings to achieve similar overall goals?
