Centerprise’s Platform as a Service (PaaS) provides all the software you need to get up and running in the cloud. You provide the hardware in ‘bare metal’ configuration, or they can host your platform and applications on their secure cloud.
Centerprise provides everything else from the Operating system (OS), infrastructure, tools and management, billing integration, all the way to the platform-as-a-service layer. An installation and configuration in your environment takes hours with Jelastic, not months.
Enterprises are moving away from traditional on premise virtualization solutions and transitioning into the Cloud. As software development in the enterprise becomes more agile, there is an equivalent demand on IT to provide an infrastructure that is responsive, scalable, highly available and secure.
Enterprise IT departments are responding with Private Cloud and Hybrid Cloud solutions that provide IT-as-a-Service (ITaaS), a utility approach that delivers an agile infrastructure to the user community, with ultimate control for administrators but self-management for developers and users where appropriate.
For enterprises, moving from traditional virtualization to the Cloud using PaaS and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) can be a daunting proposition. However, the Cloud market is growing rapidly and enterprises are recognizing that PaaS allows them to develop and deploy scalable, highly available cloud-based applications in a rapid and agile fashion.
Centerprise offers the only integrated Private Cloud solution that integrates PaaS/IaaS and is specifically built for enterprises. Quickly implemented and easily configured and managed, only Centerprise provides a turnkey private cloud that works today.
The Digital Marketplace
Centerprise recently added their solution powered by Jelastic to the Digital Marketplace at GOV.UK.
The Digital Marketplace is an online marketplace where suppliers offer their services to the public sector via the G-Cloud framework. Public sector bodies can review and buy these services at the marketplace.
Centerprise’s Platform as a Service (PaaS) offers a highly scalable and configurable environment that can support both Linux and MS Windows-based applications. The PaaS can be Customer or Supplier administered, depending on the need.
